Cynthia Buttenklepper creates limited-edition collections that honor traditional craftsmanship while preserving and reinterpreting historic silhouettes. Using distinctive fabrics with limited-availability, each piece is made in specialized workshops in Mexico with an emphasis on versatility, longevity and conscious consumption.
Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening the Mexican fashion industry and presenting Mexican design through a fresh, contemporary lens.

Born in Mexico and based in Austin, Jess created Casa Eterna at the intersection of thoughtful hospitality, a discerning eye for design, and an instinct for pieces with a presence of their own.
Casa Eterna was born from the feeling of discovering a one-of-a-kind treasure while traveling and the desire to give Mexico’s most original designers the stage they deserve.

Before she built one of the country's most recognizable boutique fitness brands, Y7 Studio, Sarah got her start in fashion, working at a multi-line showroom where she learned how the right piece, presented the right way, can stop someone in their tracks. And that is exactly what the one of a kind custom pieces at Casa Eterna do.

Casa Eterna is a female-founded house from Austin, Texas. We curate and create timeless pieces, clothing, accessories, and objects for the home, made in collaboration with artisans in Mexico City and in the US. Every piece carries story, intention, and soul.

Everywhere in the United States and to Mexico. Ready-to-ship orders leave our studio within 24 hours on business days. Austin customers can receive their order the same day.

Custom pieces are made by hand in Mexico City and ship within 2–4 weeks. We’ll keep you close to the process from the first conversation to the day it arrives.

A few custom designs are available online while they last. To commission your own, email us at hola@lacasaeterna.com, message us on Instagram, or book a private appointment, we’ll design it together.

Clothing may be returned within 15 days of purchase, unworn and with tags. Accessories and custom pieces are final sale, but if anything arrives less than perfect, tell us and making it right becomes our priority. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.

Each piece ships with its own care guidance. As a rule: handmade pieces prefer gentle hands, store jewelry dry, rest leather between wears, and when in doubt, ask us before washing.
